Designed to protect against natural battery discharge and electronic drain in cars, recreational vehicles, SUVs, and trucks, the Coleman solar 1.5-watt 12-volt deep-cycle charger keeps the 12-volt batteries in the vehicle charged so you can run small appliances such as fluorescent lights, coolers, small TVs, or laptops. The solar charger provides an immediate charge when exposed to daylight, even on cloudy day. Illuminated LEDs lets you know the panel is charging, and mounting screws are included if you choose to fix the panel to the dashboard. 4 Stars THIS IS A MISPRINT !! ACTUALLY MORE WATTS
This Coleman unit is rated at 600ma and a total power of 9 Watts. Buyers will be pleasantly surprised. The fair price for weatherproof solar panels is $10/watt…so this one qualifies although has been discontinued. My lack of a full five stars is because Coleman seems to overrate their panels by about 20%…or else they take it down to the equator to measure the power.
4 Stars Solar Panel
The unit is more or less what I expected and appears to be working well for my application as a trickle charger for my deep-cycle marine battery operating an ornamental iorn entry gate. This unit DOES NOT work with the Sunsei Solar Grip bracket which is listed as working with the Coleman Solar Panels (both are ICP Solar products); the bracket extexsions are not long enough. I was able to frabricate a simple clamp for the panel which did work with the bracket however.

3 Stars Blue LED Switch Non-Functional…
Sorry to be the naysayer for this product, but the neat ’sunray’ switch with the blue LED that indicates charging froze solid after four months. I have had several ICP solar panels and the LEDs always seem to give up early - it’s very annoying.
Apart from that, it’s the best quality product that I’ve EVER seen that’s Made in China…
5 Stars Solar Battery Saver
The SE6 has done a terrific job of “topping-up” my trolling motor marine battery. I have even used it while doing recreational boating and then the battery is ready for use when I want to fish. Directions were easy to follow and the unit was easily installed on a portable fixture so I can remove it whenever I want.

I looked at a lot of solar panels to keep the 12v gel battery charged on my sailboat. The ICP SE6 is well made & has been excellent. It’s not strong enough to over-charge a gel cell, but keeps it topped up nicely. I fix it to a cockpit seat with a bungee cord, and stow it when sailing. It comes with multiple wires: a 10′ extension cord, battery ring connectors, alligator clips, bare wire connector, male & female cigarette lighter plugs, & connector for another panel. All have O-ring seals and the panel has been weatherproof so far. It works on cloudy days and does not discharge the battery at night. Amazon has the best price.

this is a high quality product with a lot of connection options. I am replacing a 4.5 Watt unit and this unit is much higher quality and has a much better conncetion options to the battery. I am very pleased with this unit.
