This solar motion light has 5 LED’S which make it ideal for security in lighting dark areas. Great buy and quality over a box store solar motion light. LED bulbs last longer than incandescent bulbs.
Note: Place glass panel where it will receive noon time sunlight for the longest time during the day.
Inside the light box is are rechargeable nickel cadmium batteries that store the solar energy during the day.
The solar light ” spray ” is about 22 feet. It is not as bright as incandescent lighting, but has a blueish hue to it that seems to outline a form inside the spray better. So, a human outline, dog outline, deer, whatever, would be more recognizable.
Incandescent light reflects off the form and also shines more into the eyes of the onlooker, affecting the ability to recognize the intruder.

The Heath Zenith Wireless Command, SL-6037-WH solar powered motion activated driveway alert combines the convenience of motion activated lighting with the security of an audible alert. The solar powered motion sensor stake can be placed in the yard or landscaping where needed to detect movement without wiring up to 100 ft away from plug-in alert. The solar motion sensor stake comes with two rechargeable AA batteries.
