2 Stars Still hoping it works…
I really want this to work because I want an alternative to the propane-driven units tyhat seem to fail shortly after the warranty runs out. (Our experience with 3 of them so far.)

But I have also seen more moths, june bugs, etc. than mosquitos being captured by mine. After three weeks I noticed the fan stopped qorking and I found a june bug jamming it. I had to take it apart to clean it out.

Since I was swarmed by mosquitos wile fixing it I’m hopeful that they are now being sucked in! I’ll try it for a few more weeks before giving up.

We bought it somewhere with a no questions 1-year return policy and we’re glad for that. Interesting that that place has now stopped selling it…

Fortunately for me this was a gift…as it does nothing to get rid of mosquitos, especially not an 80% reduction as claimed. Makes a great moth catcher however.

4 Stars A miracle machine for us in Florida
I work in my garage a lot and the mosquitos this year have been driving me absolutely crazy. I got sick of covering myself in deet, burning mosquito coils and citronella. So I thought I would give the Malibu low voltage mosquito sentinel 360 a try.

Well, it has made a world of difference for us. I haven’t used any deet and the garage only sees mosquitos just occasionally. I check the bag in the machine often and always see mosquitos in the bag. It’s nice to work in the garage again without being swarmed by mosquitos.

My wife is a mosquito magnet. My daughter loves the outdoors. The intersection of those two points brought me to the Sentinel 360. I installed one of these in our backyard, and it definitely sucks up the bugs. The majority of the bugs that I regularly emptied from its sack were moths. There were definitely mosquitos in with them, but I didn’t really stop to compare quantities caught. The instructions recommend installing the unit 50′-70′ away from where people will be. This is presumably to draw the bugs to the unit and away from the populated area. This wasn’t too practical in my yard, so it’s about 10′ away from our deck. It seems to work OK, but I’m not sure I’d buy it again, unless the price was right.

I live in the foothills of Central California. I’ve had this product for almost a month now, and so far it mostly catches moths. In fact, I can be in my garden in the early evening and the mosquitos are having a feast…on me! I still have to wear repellent to work outside. What is the point of spending so much money on a product that doesn’t work. Wish I could get my money back.
